Eligibility

Interline rates on this site are available to all active & retired airline employees, spouses, dependent children and parents. However, each travel supplier has their own rules and they vary.
If you work for an air cargo company you do not qualify for Carnival’s interline rates.
If you use our booking engine to make a reservation please verify your eligibility by checking the guidelines below. If in doubt please call us toll free at 1-877-772-5200


-Passenger airlines -Cargo Companies – FedEx, UPS, DHL, Airborne (retirees not eligible) -NACTA (National Air Traffic Controllers) – *Please Note: This does not include Canadian Air Traffic Controllers (NAVCAN) or those from any other country.
-FAA (Federal Aviation Administration)
-ALPA (Airline Pilot’s Association)
-IATA
-(CRS) employees of Sabre, Worldspan, Galileo/Apollo, Travelport or Amadeus
-Amtrak -Cruise line employees (Carnival Cruise Lines employees are NOT Eligible)

As long as qualified Primary Interline employee occupies one stateroom the following would apply: -Guests sharing the stateroom with the Primary Interline employee are eligible for the interline rate (CPGI).
A Second stateroom may be booked at the interline rate (CPGI), as long as the stateroom is occupied by an eligible family member (see below for definition) OR
A Second stateroom may be booked at the Carnival Friends & Family Interline Rate (CPG3) rate – for passengers who are non-eligible family members/friends. -A Third stateroom may be booked ONLY at the Carnival Friends & Family Interline Rate (CPG3)

-Parent of Employee – *Note – PARENTS IN LAW ARE NOT ELIGIBLE
-Dependent children 21yrs old and younger
-Interline benefits cease with the death of the employee. Surviving spouses, or immediate family receive no interline benefits.

PLEASE NOTE: Eligible Family Members NOT traveling with the Primary Interline Employee are permitted to book ONE cabin per cruise departure, per family.

-Permitted to book ONE stateroom and RETIRED EMPLOYEE MUST TRAVEL to book interline rate (CPGI)
-Retirees do not qualify for the Carnival Friends & Family Interline Rate (CPG3) and are therefore not eligible to book any additional staterooms.
-Retired employees of non-existing (defunct) airlines do NOT qualify for the interline rate (CPGI)

Carnival requires proof of Interline Rate Eligibility immediately upon confirmation of your booking.

Without proof of qualified interline eligibility, Carnival reserves the right to automatically adjust the price to the applicable retail rate prior to departure.
For Bookings made outside 7 days of sailing: ID MUST be received within 72hrs of booking.
For Bookings made inside 7 days of sailing: ID MUST be received within 24hrs of booking.
Photo ID must be clearly legible and must show the branded company logo.

Active Personnel- US Military Only. – Spouses of active Military personnel called to active duty overseas will be eligible to book one cabin as long as the eligible spouse is occupying this cabin. The spouse must provide proof of eligibility by submitting a copy of the Military spouse card as well as a copy of the official orders and/or duties documentation – US Reserve Personnel – Active Cadets – U.S Coast Guard Personnel – Active member of the US National Guard
– Uniformed members of the USPHS (U.S Public Health Services)
– Retired US Military Personnel
– Retired member of the National Guard – Veterans, defined as: Individuals who have actively served in the Military for at least two years or during a wartime period and have been honorably discharged
Military Personnel are permitted to book only ONE cabin at the Military Rate

Airline Personnel

1.  Airline Employee: To be an “Eligible Airline Employee” a person must be:
2. A current full-time employee of either a domestic or international commercial passenger airline
3. A current employee of Federal Express (FEDEX), Astar Air Cargo (formerly DHL Airways), Airborne Express or United Parcel Service (UPS)

Stateroom Eligibility
1. All other guests in the same stateroom would be eligible for the interline rate
2. (One) additional stateroom may be booked with guests in that stateroom being eligible for the interline rate
3. A (second) additional stateroom may be booked with guests being eligible for the interline rate only if one of the two additional staterooms is occupied by dependant children of the primary guest.
4. Maximum of three (3) cabins can be booked per primary guest, per sailing date only as described in #3 immediately above.

Airline Personnel Exceptions

1. Spouse or Domestic Partner of currently employed Airline Employee
2. Parents of currently employed Airline Employee
3. Retired employee from a domestic or international commercial airline
4. (CRS) employees of Sabre, Worldspan, Galileo/Apollo, or Amadeus

The following guests are NOT qualified to have their own stateroom at interline or military rates:
1. Amtrak employees
2. Cruise line employees
3. Tour company employees
4. Parents-In-Law
5. FAA, Air Traffic Controllers or other government employees

Length of Employment

  • Employee must be employed with the airline for minimum of (6) six months prior to making the bookings and work a minimum of 15 hours per week
  • Temporary, on-call intern and contract employees are not eligible

Notes:

  • A second additional cabin may be booked for friends / family – as long as the first cabin booked is occupied by an eligible employee/spouse. A third cabin may be booked, but must be occupied by an eligible parent or dependent child. Parent(s) traveling without employee being present may only qualify for one (1) cabin

Interline Eligibility
1. Employees of Airlines who are IATA/ARC appointed
2. Retired employees of airlines currently in operation
3. Spouses of employee
4. Parents (not In-Laws) of employee

Notes:
• Spouses & Parents may travel independently of the employee

Interline Eligibility
1. Employees of Airlines who are IATA/ARC appointed
2. Retired employees of airlines
3. Not Eligible: Employees of cargo and overnight freight airlines (i.e. FedEx, UPS, DHL etc)

Notes:
• 2 cabins per employees but employees must travel

Interline Eligibility
1. Employees of Airlines who are IATA/ARC appointed
2. Employees of Federal Express, DHL / Airborne & UPS
3. Employees of National Air Traffic Controllers Association
